These 4 ewes will be available August 16th 2025 in Clintwood Virginia at the 4th annual Coalfield Sheep Association auction. These ewes represent some of the best lambs we have produced on our farm to date. Information about their sires can be found on our "Service Sires" page. FRS 2524
Born a quad and weaned a quad! This ewe lamb is outstanding. We really put her dam to the test this year and she did not disappoint. As a yearling her dam tripled and then threw quads this year in her second lambing season. Talk about production! This ewe has displayed incredible vigor and weight gain. She is long and about as straight as you can build one. We may kick ourselves for letting this one go.

This fantastic built ewe was born from a yearling we purchased from the Gingerich Family during their online auction last year. Her sire is about as wide as you can build one and it shows through with this lamb. She was one of the last lambs born on the farm but you'd never know it looking at her in the field. I'd like to have a field full of lambs built just like this one!

FRS 2531
This beautifully built ewe is a twin born from a 2 yo. Hancock ewe purchased from the Coalfield sale in 2023. Her dam is a moderate framed ewe that is super easy keeping and recovers incredibly fast post weaning. Her twin is also the best built and fastest growing ram produced on the property this year.

A pretty spotted ewe born from a yearling we kept from last year. She was one of the last lambs born on the farm and has performed exceptionally well. Her dam is from HRS 23-707. She has matured into a big bodied brood ewe with great bone structure and plenty of room for lambs. 707 produced two rams we decided to retain this year and let grow out on the farm. We expect 2530's dam will fill out the same way as will 2530 herself.
